Hey skincare lovers!

 

Here are a few facts about who I am,

 

I’m currently 22 years old, a university student specializing in English Literature, and of course, a skincare junkie. Just like Melina, I have experience in the Marketing field specifically in Content Creating, and Social Media networks. I have been a lover of skincare since I struggled with severe acne as a teenager. I constantly looked and tried different products and the products I gravitated towards, resulted in my skin getting ten times worse. My acne struggle allowed me to become aware of certain ingredients in products, and in learning that natural skincare would become the best possible solution for my skin. The best part about skincare is pampering myself, and feeling like a stunning queen before, during, and after my skincare routine. 

 

Apart from my love for skincare, I also love food, reading, books, books, and more books, as well as animals. 

 

Here are a few questions you might have for me, that I already answered! Like magic…

 

1. Who first introduced you to skincare? My first memory of ever playing with skincare, and makeup is at my great-aunt’s vanity. She would let me play there all the time and I remember loving it very, very much. So, I guess it was my great-aunt who first introduced me to skincare.

2. Do you prefer your morning or night time skincare routine? To be honest, I don’t really have a morning routine. All I do in the morning is splash water on my face, spray toner, and put moisturizer on some mornings. I prefer my night time skincare routine because I wake up super refreshed, and moisturized the next day. 

3. Do you stick to the same routine all the time? No, I love changing it up because I am still looking for those products that will rock my socks off, and become my holy grails. 

4. What type of product do you make sure to never leave out? Serum 

5. What is your new favourite product? Eau Roma Water Toner from Lush. It feels so good on my skin. 

6. What is your oldest go-to product? Charity Pot Body Cream from Lush. This product is one of my holy grails, and it’s perfect for my sensitive skin. 

7. Where do you buy most of your products? Sephora and Lush

8. Favourite skincare tool? I recently started using a Gua Sha and I’m enjoying it. My favourite skincare tool however, might have to be my hands. I love giving myself face massages. 

9. Do you have a skincare fridge? Yes! I love it because products feel 10x better once applied. (shoutout to Melina for inspiring me to purchase a skincare fridge)

10. What makes you most excited about having a blog/Instagram page? Definitely being able to interact with other individuals in the skincare community.
