Here is a little more about me…

 

I am currently 22 years old, living in the Montreal area. I will be finishing my undergrad degree in Marketing, in December. Throughout my studies, I was fortunate enough to complete a few internships that allowed me to gain some experience, particularly in content creation and social media. For the past three years I have become obsessed with anything and everything skincare. Luckily, my best friend shared this same passion, which is why we decided what better way to show our love than to create a blog and an Instagram page (@skincarelibrary)?

 

For me, skincare is about feeling and looking good in my own skin. I truly enjoy applying my products every morning and every night – there’s no better feeling! I also think that it is important to start at a young age, as this can help prevent wrinkles and signs of aging in the future.

 

Here are some facts about me when it comes to skincare:

 

1. Who first introduced you to skincare? Influencers on YouTube and a former colleague.

2. Do you prefer your morning or night time skincare routine? I love both, but I think I prefer night time because I feel less rushed and could enjoy the process better.

3. Do you stick to the same routine all the time? No, I am constantly looking for new products to add to my skincare routine and love changing things up. However, I do have some stable products that I have stuck to.

4. What type of product do you make sure to never leave out? For the morning, I’d definitely say SPF and moisturizer (especially in the winter) and at night - cleansing!

5. What is your new favourite product? Without a doubt the Dr.Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Serum – it is amazing! I was actually introduced to it by Cassandra :).

6. What is your oldest go-to product? This one is hard to answer but if I had to pick one I’d say the LaNeige sleep mask.

7. Where do you buy most of your products? 90% of the time I make my purchases off Sephora.

8. Favourite skincare tool? Gua Sha and Jade Rolling – without a doubt!

9. Do you have a skincare fridge? YES – don’t know how I lived without it. I’m in love.

10. What makes you most excited about having a blog/Instagram page?  To be able to connect with others who share the same passion as me.
