Hi Skincare Lovers!
Here is a glimpse into my current Nighttime Skincare Routine. I’ve been using some of these products for months, and others I’ve been using for a couple of weeks. My skincare routine changes each time I finish a product unless it’s a holy grail product of mine! The products I mention are more natural since I have very sensitive skin. Enjoy the read!
CLEANSER - Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser
Moisturizing Grape & Purifying Sage

I decided to go for a foamy cleanser out of curiosity. The Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser is a “natural, soap-free, foaming daily cleanser that is packed with antioxidants to gently cleanse and soften the look of skin.” It is great for normal to dry skin types. My skin type is both normal and dry so I decided to pick this product up. I like the texture of the product and the light scent it has. I also love how the cleanser feels on my skin. However, it’s still drying and I knew it would be drying when I first tried it because it is a foamy formula. Is this a holy grail product of mine? NO!
TONER - Lush Eau Roma Water
Soothing Rose Refreshment

I love this toner! I’ve been using Lush toners for years and they are miracle workers for my skin. The Eau Roma Water is great for mature, sensitive and dry skin types. The rose water cools irritated skin and keeps redness at bay, while the lavender helps to balance the skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple. I make sure to keep this toner in my skincare fridge because when I apply it, it’s 10 times more soothing to the skin. I love how calm I feel when I spray it onto my face, and the scent smells super light but you can easily smell light rose, and lavender. Is this a holy grail product of mine? YES!
ESSENCE - SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

Essence is very new to my skincare routine and by new I mean a couple of months. I’ve been using samples of the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and it is made to visibly soften the texture of your skin, reduce the appearance of dark spots and fine lines caused by dryness, and to visibly enhance the skin’s radiance. This product is great for normal, dry, combination, and oily skin types. I loved the first sample I received. It had no scent, felt like water on the skin, and made my serums sink much better into my skin. However, the second sample I’ve received has a strange scent and I’m not too sure if my dark spots have been reduced yet. Is this a holy grail product of mine? STILL NOT SURE.
SERUM - Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Serum
Soothes Sensitive Skin

Serum is my favourite part of my skincare routine because it’s one of my most effective products. This product is a highly-concentrated serum that treats sensitive skin with ingredients such as strengthening Jartbiome, soothing Centella Rx, and reparative Cicabond. This serum is great for dryness and redness which is exactly what I suffer from. Words cannot describe how much I love this product. It feels great on the skin, it has no scent, it removes my redness, my dryness, and the tightness of my skin. An added bonus is that I also keep it in my skincare fridge so it goes onto the skin nice, and cold. Is this a holy grail product of mine? HECK YES!
SERUM - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum
Exfoliates Skin Overnight

Have you ever tried a product infused with Lactic Acid and it just burnt off your skin? Fear no more, BIOSSANCE is here! With dry skin comes dry skin cells so it’s important for me to use Lactic Acid to exfoliate the dead skin cells from my face so my face can glow like the sun. This product has 10 percent vegan Lactic Acid infused into the serum so that it can clinically exfoliate skin overnight to reveal smoother, softer, and a more luminous complexion - it’s great for normal, dry, combination, and oily skin types. This product does everything it says and the best part is that it doesn’t burn or make my skin red. I highly recommend this product to those who need to use Lactic Acid but haven’t found the one yet. This is the one. Oh, and the scent is light and nice as well. Is this a holy grail product of mine? PROBABLY!
MOISTURIZER - Lush Skin’s Shangri La
Nourishing Wheatgrass, Seaweed and Vanilla

I’m still using my winter moisturizer… yes, you read that correctly. I know it’s Spring but since we’ve been staying at home, my skin has been very dry so I had to avert to using my winter moisturizer. This product is normally for mature skin but it works great on mine. It is the richest moisturizer Lush carries and has rejuvenating jojoba oil (one of my favourite ingredients), soothing aloe vera extract, and Queen of Hungary Water which is a mixture of water, vodka and rosemary that is known to tighten and firm fine lines. This moisturizer is great and I’ve tried a bunch to combat the cold Canadian winters as well as my dry skin. No moisturizers that I’ve tried have worked except this one. It has a very light scent, feels great, and moisturizes my skin like a dream. I am opened to trying different moisturizers but for now, this is what it is. Is this a holy grail product of mine? I GUESS SO.
EYE CREAM - FARMACY Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream
With Acerola Cherry

Not only do I have sensitive skin, but I also have very sensitive eyes, ironically. Even my heart is sensitive. (Just kidding… hmm maybe I’m not). Anyways, this eye cream is said to be super-hydrating, and the Vitamin C brightens, as well as reduces the appearance of fine lines and dark circles - great for all skin types. I like this product so far. I haven’t been using it for a long time but it has made my dark circles smaller. Also, it’s very light and hydrating at the same time. I haven’t picked up a scent from this product. Is this a holy grail product of mine? MAYBE.
That’s it folks! I hope you all enjoyed reading about what I put on my face or what I’ve been currently putting on my face. Until next time!
Best,
Cassandra
